With that in mind, it is with a heavy, yet hopeful heart that I announce Anchor Group Publishing is closing. When I began this company six years ago, the literary world was a different place. Aspiring authors are now privy to publishing resources that were new and unknown just a short time ago. Things have shifted and evolved, and as professionals we have to move along with it. In this new landscape, the council I can offer is more beneficial than any AG contract I could write, hence me knowing it’s time to move on.
I’m doing all I can to make sure this transition is as smooth as possible for all of my authors; lining up various options to them so that their writing careers roll on with little more than a hiccup. That said, I know this is stressful, and shocking, and I have made it well known to them all that I will help them through this in any way I can. In my mind, I’m still their mama bear, and can’t wait to see how far each of them will go. As for me, I will keep writing, I will keep throwing my all into Once Upon a Book, and I will enjoy a bit more much needed family time. All, with my attentions slightly less divided.
So, I take off my hat as the Captain of Anchor Group, knowing that it’s time. Sometimes we have to cut anchor to the past, to allow the tide to sail us toward a fresh horizon. The winds of change are blowing on my face, and I’m filled with hope of all that is yet to come.

To all of the authors I have met and worked with through AGP, this is not goodbye. I am so thankful to have worked with such a talented group of people. I love you all and expect to see great things from all of you in 2018. I insist we keep in touch.
While this is a bittersweet ending, I know that where one door closes another one opens. Anchors up and full steam ahead.
